Sherbrooke Consulting Programs

In addition to the commercial packages above, Sherbrooke Consulting has a number of special purpose, electromagnetic programs. They include:

MAP - a two dimensional finite element based magnetic analysis program
MAP2DJ - a two dimensional (weakly) coupled thermal and electromagnetic program e.g., the thermal and current diffusion in a copper magnet
SOLDESIGN - a general program to calculate magnetic fields, forces, inductances, etc. due to a number of coaxial solenoids.
FIELD3D - a general program to calculate the magnetic fields, forces, inductances, etc. due to a number of arbitrarily shaped coils modeled by piece-wise straight, lumped current filaments.
